| `Taj Mahal` music launched in style.

The music of Akbar Khan`s TAJ MAHAL was released on March 16 at ITC Grand Central Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Lower Parel. A Mashreq Communications Ltd. presentation, the film has music by Naushad and lyrics by Syed Gulrez and Naqsh Lyallpuri.
A replica of the Taj Mahal was constructed at the terrace of the hotel. The proceedings commenced with singer Hariharan rendering a track from the film. Later, portions of the songs were screened, besides some talkie promos. Thereafter, Akbar Khan introduced the cast and crew of the love story to the elite gathering.
Akbar`s elder brothers Feroz and Sanjay Khan, besides nephews Fardeen and Zayed Khan made it a point to attend the gathering. Veteran composer Naushad, who has composed the songs of this magnum opus, was present on the occasion.
The music of TAJ MAHAL has been released by Mashreq Music and is being marketed by Times Music. The film will have a theatrical release worldwide in May this year. .
