Manisha Koirala is the heroine of Kamal Hassan’s Mumbai Express directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao.
Remember that Kamal had tried to get the dates of Madhuri Dixit to do the female lead but when the actress quoted Rs 1.25 Crore, he quietly made a retreat. Then several names were tossed up like Tabu, Bipasha Basu and Kajol. Tabu for some strange reasons plainly refused and flew down to Hyderabad to be Chiranjeevi’s heroine in his new film.
